Job summary

Motional is seeking a Software Engineer (SRE Focus) to join the Engineering Enablement team in Singapore. You will build and evolve internal platforms and toolchains that power engineering workflows while improving reliability, performance, and scalability.

Partner with teams across the organization to deliver high-quality services for internal customers. You will work on cost-optimization, observability, and platform automation to accelerate software delivery with confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in SRE/DevOps roles with cloud exposure.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and IaC tools.
• Strong coding ability in Python, Go, or C++.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and translating goals into software requirements.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability, performance, and scalability of internal platforms and services.
• Build scalable backend services, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling to support developer workflows.
• Enhance observability across distributed systems and reduce incidents.
• Collaborate across teams to optimize AWS spend and cloud efficiency.
• Participate in architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
• Communicate clearly with engineers and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
