Job summary

Apple is seeking an SRE Engineer to join its horizontal Platform Engineering Ops group in Singapore. You will work across highly scalable distributed applications, applying strategic engineering and data science skills to security domains and ML pipelines for privacy and anomaly detection.

You will help shape software that powers Apple products and experiences for billions of customers worldwide, with collaboration across IT, production support, and QA to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years software engineering experience.
• OO language experience, Java preferred.
• Automation tools experience (Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong programming/scripting (Python/Bash/LUA).
• Strong DB fundamentals with PL/SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Review infra and app functionality to identify bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain services and drive incident management.
• Design and implement monitoring for apps, integrations and anomalies.
• Involved in rollout of high-performance security platforms.
• Onboard and maintain data pipelines for security platforms.
• Analyze detections to minimize false positives and improve detections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability.
