Job summary

QORVO INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced PCB design engineer to create and modify PCB designs and CAD drawings, ensuring DFM/DFA/DFT alignment from concept to manufacturing. You will collaborate with RF, mechanical, test development engineers to deliver robust boards.

Responsibilities include end-to-end PCB layout in Altium, schematic capture, HDI layout, design reviews, ECO management, and delivering complete fabrication packages for smooth production transfer.

Qualifications

• BSE Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of PCB design experience.
• Proficiency with Altium; Allegro for multi-site schematic entry and HDI layouts.
• Experience with high-density HDI designs and 0.4mm BGA routing.
• Strong design-for-manufacturing (DFM/DFX) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end PCB design using Altium, including schematic capture and HDI layout.
• Lead design reviews and manage ECOs with full traceability of revisions.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, procurement and manufacturing teams to optimize performance and signal integrity.
• Prepare complete design documentation including Gerber files, BOMs, and manufacturing releases.

Job description

Job Summary:

Create and modify PCB Designs and detailed CAD drawings with keen attention to DFM/DFA/DFT requirements.Contribute as an individual as well as collaborate closely with RF Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Test Development Engineers to create designs from concept to manufacturing and production.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Independently execute end-to-end PCB design primarily using Altium Software, including schematic capture, complex HDI PCB layout, from concept to fabrication, assembly, and production.
• Conduct and facilitate design reviews, to ensure accuracy and compliance of schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts, while managing engineering changes, and ensuring full traceability of design revisions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including hardware, mechanical, procurement, and manufacturing teams, to optimize product performance, signal and power integrity, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) requirements.
• Prepare and manage complete design documentation packages, including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files, BOMs, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring timely release and smooth transition into manufacturing.

Requirements:

• BSE Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with at least 6 years or more experience in similar capacity
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium (main) and Allegro for multi-site schematic entry and multi-layer high-density boards with heavy experience on ATE multisite load boards and probe cards
• Proficient in high density design (HDI) for high count fine pitch BGA packages (0.4mm) routing & RF High-frequency layout design
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, effectively manage schedules and expectations, and consistently deliver high-quality designs within aggressive timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills for collaborative design review and vendor interaction
• Strong expertise in Design for Excellence (DFx) methodologies, including DFM, DFA, DFT, and DFR, and PCB manufacturing processes
• Ideal candidate with experience in Signal Integrity Analysis (by Altium) & Power Analyzer by Keysight is a big plus
