Job summary

Qorvo International Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to drive end-to-end designs from concept to manufacturing. You will predominantly use Altium for schematic capture and HDI layout, collaborating with RF, mechanical, test, and procurement teams to ensure smooth production release.

The ideal candidate holds a BSE in Electronic or Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of hands-on PCB design experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute end-to-end PCB design using Altium from concept to fabrication.
• Lead design reviews; manage ECOs and revisions with full traceability.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, procurement, and manufacturing teams to optimize performance and DFM/DFT.
• Prepare design documentation, Gerber files, BOMs, and release to production.

Job description

Create and modify PCB Designs and detailed CAD drawings with keen attention to DFM/DFA/DFT requirements. Contribute as an individual as well as collaborate closely with RF Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Test Development Engineers to create designs from concept to manufacturing and production.

Key responsibilities

• Independently execute end-to-end PCB design primarily using Altium Software, including schematic capture, complex HDI PCB layout, from concept to fabrication, assembly, and production
• Conduct and facilitate design reviews, to ensure accuracy and compliance of schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts, while managing engineering changes, and ensuring full traceability of design revisions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including hardware, mechanical, procurement, and manufacturing teams, to optimize product performance, signal and power integrity, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) requirements
• Prepare and manage complete design documentation packages, including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files, BOMs, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring timely release and smooth transition into manufacturing

About you

• BSE Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with at least 6 years or more experience in similar capacity
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium (main) and Allegro for multi-site schematic entry and multi-layer high-density boards with heavy experience on ATE multisite load boards and probe cards
• Proficient in high density design (HDI) for high count fine pitch BGA packages (0.4mm) routing & RF High-frequency layout design
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, effectively manage schedules and expectations, and consistently deliver high-quality designs within aggressive timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills for collaborative design review and vendor interaction
• Strong expertise in Design for Excellence (DFx) methodologies, including DFM, DFA, DFT, and DFR, and PCB manufacturing processes
• Experience in Signal Integrity Analysis (by Altium) & Power Analyzer by Keysight is a plus
