NHG Population Health in Singapore seeks a proactive Programme and Administrative Support specialist to help manage research projects and grants. You will coordinate meetings, track progress, and ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
The role touches ethics, governance, partnerships, and knowledge translation, requiring strong writing, coordination, and stakeholder engagement across local and international partners.
NHG Population Health
NHG Population Health, part of NHG Health, is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of 1.5 million residents in Central and North Singapore. Our work goes beyond hospitals, into neighbourhoods, schools and workplaces, by bringing care closer to where people live.
Through our three Missions - Population Health, Community Health and Primary Care — we partner hospitals, polyclinics, general practitioners, and community organisations to provide integrated, person-centred care across all life stages.
The Population Health Management (PHM) Directorate has been established to support daily clinical management to become more systematic and targeted; to ensure NHG is more informed by clinical, operational and demographic data as Regional Health Manager for Central and North Singapore; and that this informs the way in which we deploy our collective resources across all organisations to maximise the health outcomes of the local population, and establish system planning and care delivery so it is more coherent and systemic in its understanding of population health outcomes, value, and equity.
Our role in the PHM Directorate is to facilitate this change across NHG at population, provider, place, and resident level - ensuring that we address not just the clinical and preventative aspects of care but also the social, environmental, and behavioural determinants of health - so that we can achieve our ambition to add 15M health years for our residents.
This means that the Population Health Management and Value Directorate is principally an ‘enabler' of this operational and cultural change - developing enabling infrastructure and building new capability at every level of our system in NHG on behalf of our partners and population.
The staff will support the Population Health Management (PHM) leadership by serving as a critical liaison between research teams, institutional partners, and funding bodies to ensure the successful execution of population health research and evaluation initiatives. This role encompasses comprehensive programme management from conception through completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional standards whilst providing essential operational support to research and evaluation teams. The staff contributes strategically to programme development and partnership facilitation to advance evidence-based, scalable population health research and evaluation that aligns with organisational objectives and secures sustainable funding.
