Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital seeks a dynamic Senior Assistant Manager, Training & Quality Improvement to strengthen organisational capability in quality improvement, patient safety and continuous learning. You will work with clinical and operational teams to translate priorities into practical improvements that deliver meaningful, sustainable outcomes.

Responsibilities include building QI training, coaching improvement projects, applying QI tools, analyzing data, and developing dashboards and learning

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in quality improvement, healthcare, operations or training.
• Facilitation of quality improvement projects and/or training delivery.
• Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies is advantageous.
• Healthcare experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build quality improvement capability by designing and delivering training programmes, workshops and learning initiatives on quality improvement and patient safety.
• Facilitate and coach quality improvement projects across departments, supporting root-cause analysis and measurement of outcomes.
• Apply QI tools and methods such as PDSA, FMEA and other improvement techniques.
• Partner with Heads of Department and frontline teams to identify opportunities to improve quality and patient safety.
• Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends and translate insights into recommendations.
• Develop training resources, QI toolkits, dashboards and related materials.
• Support culture of learning, safety and continuous improvement across the organisation.

In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening organisational capability inquality improvement, patient safety and continuous learning. You will work closely with clinical, and operational teams to translate quality and safety priorities into practical improvements that deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

• Build quality improvement capabilityby designing and delivering training programmes, workshops and learning initiatives on quality improvement, patient safety and related topics.
• Facilitate and coach quality improvement projectsacross departments, supporting teams in identifying problems, analysing root causes, developing solutions and measuring outcomes.
• Apply appropriate improvement methodologies such asPDSA, FMEA, root cause analysis and other quality improvement tools.
• Partner with Heads of Department, clinical leaders and frontline teams to identify opportunities to improvequality and patient safety.
• Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Develop and maintaintraining resources, QI toolkits, dashboards and other capability-building materials.
• Support initiatives that strengthen apositive patient safety and continuous improvement culture, including learning forums, QI showcases and engagement activities.
• Evaluate the impact and sustainability of improvement initiatives and facilitate the sharing and spread of successful practices.
• Support relevantclinical governance, audit, accreditation and regulatory initiativeswhere required.
• Explore opportunities to leveragedigitalisation, automation and AIto enhance quality monitoring, training and improvement processes.
• Take on organisation-wide projects and other strategic initiatives as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Engineering, Communications or related disciplines.

EXPERIENCE

• At least5 years of relevant experience, advantageous to have prior experience in healthcare, quality improvement, patient safety, operations or training.
• Experience infacilitating quality improvement projects and/or conducting training and workshops.
• Knowledge of QI methodologies will be advantageous.
• Experience in healthcare is advantageous.
