We are looking for a dynamic and motivatedSenior Assistant Manager, Training & Quality Improvementto join our team.
In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening organisational capability inquality improvement, patient safety and continuous learning. You will work closely with clinical, and operational teams to translate quality and safety priorities into practical improvements that deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
- Build quality improvement capabilityby designing and delivering training programmes, workshops and learning initiatives on quality improvement, patient safety and related topics.
- Facilitate and coach quality improvement projectsacross departments, supporting teams in identifying problems, analysing root causes, developing solutions and measuring outcomes.
- Apply appropriate improvement methodologies such asPDSA, FMEA, root cause analysis and other quality improvement tools.
- Partner with Heads of Department, clinical leaders and frontline teams to identify opportunities to improvequality and patient safety.
- Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for improvement, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintaintraining resources, QI toolkits, dashboards and other capability-building materials.
- Support initiatives that strengthen apositive patient safety and continuous improvement culture, including learning forums, QI showcases and engagement activities.
- Evaluate the impact and sustainability of improvement initiatives and facilitate the sharing and spread of successful practices.
- Support relevantclinical governance, audit, accreditation and regulatory initiativeswhere required.
- Explore opportunities to leveragedigitalisation, automation and Ito enhance quality monitoring, training and improvement processes.
- Take on organisation-wide projects and other strategic initiatives as assigned.
Education
- Degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Engineering, Communications or related disciplines.
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience , advantageous to have prior experience in healthcare, quality improvement, patient safety, operations or training.
- Experience in facilitating quality improvement projects and/or conducting training and workshops .
- Knowledge of QI methodologies will be advantageous.
- Experience in healthcare is advantageous.
