Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. is seeking a civil/structural engineering graduate to support business development in the construction sector.

The role focuses on promoting products, building networks with architects, consultants, developers, and contractors, and guiding projects from early stage to award. You will gather market insights, assist in technical talks and events, and coordinate with the R&D team to align product trends with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Good communication and presentation skills, with confidence in meeting and discussing requirements with customers.
• Able to understand technical drawings, project documents, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Marketing & Sales Manager to support business development activities.
• Develop and maintain professional contacts with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and relevant government bodies.
• Introduce suitable company products to projects at an early stage and work towards getting them included in project specifications.
• Follow up on potential projects from the initial stage until the project is successfully awarded.
• Keep project information, customer activities, market updates, and sales opportunities properly recorded and updated.
• Assist in company promotional activities, including technical talks, exhibitions, trade events, advertising, and customer engagement programmes.
• Study market conditions and customer needs to identify new areas for business growth.
• Work with the R&D team by sharing feedback on customer requirements, industry changes, and product trends to support the development of new products.
• Monitor competing products and companies, understand their market position, and suggest suitable approaches to strengthen the company’s products.
• Take responsibility for achieving the assigned project specification and business development goals.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Building, or a related field.
• Experience in promoting or specifying construction products, systems, or related solutions is an advantage.
• Familiar with construction methods, industry practices, and design requirements in Southeast Asia.
• Established contacts with architects, consultants, contractors, or other construction industry professionals.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with confidence in meeting and discussing requirements with customers.
• Able to understand technical drawings, project documents, and specifications.
• Positive, independent, and target-driven, with the ability to work well both alone and as part of a team.
