Job summary

Dynamics International School Pte. Ltd. on Orchard Road is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support diverse learners in an inclusive setting. You will differentiate instruction for students with learning difficulties and collaborate with staff to raise outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in education, IPC/IMYC experience preferred, at least 2 years in schools, and strong skills in IEP development, assessment linkage, and communication with parents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field from an accredited university.
• Prior teaching experience with IPC or IMYC frameworks is highly preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children in a school setting with learning difficulties, delivering targeted instruction in literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects.
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), including linking assessments to IEP development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Proficiency in classroom and behavior management techniques and the use of appropriate intervention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group teaching in an inclusive setting for students age 7+ with learning difficulties.
• Deliver targeted instruction in literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects.
• Adapt and modify curriculum materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs, in collaboration with educators and specialists.
• Deliver high-quality instruction that meets the educational and developmental needs of students with disabilities.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate students’ progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students’ performance, including IEP documentation.
• Work closely with support staff and other specialists to ensure a coordinated approach to education.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress, challenges, and achievements.
