  • Aesthetics
  • Life Skills

ACS (Academy) adopts a co-teaching model where teacher-student ratios can range from 1:6 to 1:15 across classes with varying need (low/medium/high).

We adopt school-wide positive behaviour intervention support (SWPBIS) which is a proactive, school-wide framework that helps us explicitly teach, notice and reinforce positive behaviours so that students can thrive socially, emotionally and academically.

Rather than reacting to misbehaviour, SWPBIS focuses on prevention through clear expectations, consistent teaching, and meaningful feedback.

The ideal candidate would have:
  • at least 3 years of relevant teaching experience at a primary level (SPED preferred)
  • DISE qualified is preferred but not required

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Candidates would be expected to:
  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Singapore National Curriculum, adapted for students with ASD.
  • Co-teach in classrooms designed specifically for students with autism, working closely with a fellow teacher to share instructional and behavioural support responsibilities.
  • Implement structured teaching strategies, visual support, and consistent routines tailored to ASD learner profiles.
  • Design and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Individual Transition Plans (ITPs) in collaboration with families and professionals.
