Job summary

F5, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the sales team, delivering technical expertise on F5 solutions to customers and partners.

The role centers on enabling the sales team with in-depth knowledge of F5 products and the surrounding ecosystem, supported by training and certification to stay current. The SE will drive opportunities, engage Technical Decision Makers, and present both technical features and business benefits across multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years related industry experiences.
• Advanced F5 solution knowledge and relevant experience in key competitor offerings preferred.
• Expertise in secure multi-cloud architectures.
• Experience with two or more public/private cloud vendors and automation toolsets.
• Proficiency in containerized/microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging and positioning to align with customer objectives.
• Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs and demos.
• Determine viability of opportunity and map out organizational structure.
• Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager and secure sponsorship.
• Deliver world-class customer service throughout the life cycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams, share best practices and provide expertise as needed.
