Job summary

F5 Networks Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Principal Solution Engineer to design and implement robust, scalable application delivery and security solutions using F5 tech including Distributed Cloud. You’ll translate business requirements into technical architecture and lead client engagements, POCs, and strategic initiatives.

The role emphasizes AI workloads, containerized deployments, and collaboration with sales, product, and engineering teams to drive successful outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and implementing network or application delivery solutions with focus on F5.
• Deep technical expertise in F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM, APM, AWAF), ideally NGINX, and familiarity with Distributed Cloud is a plus.
• Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of AI concepts like AI Factories, RAG, and AI Gateways and IaC tools (Terraform) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for F5 Inc. solutions (BIG-IP, NGINX, Distributed Cloud).
• Design and architect application delivery and security solutions for performance, scalability, security, and availability with AI/container contexts.
• Lead technical discussions with clients to translate requirements into architecture and value propositions.
• Develop detailed designs with diagrams, specs, and implementation plans, potentially including Distributed Cloud for AI workloads.
• Provide technical guidance to pre-sales teams with presentations, demos, and proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering during deployment to ensure adherence to architecture.
• Stay updated on F5 product updates, AI infrastructure, and cloud-native trends.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to thought leadership and PoCs.
