Job summary

Samsung SDS Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to maintain and support delivered solutions at customer sites in Singapore. The role involves on-site installation and configuration, site surveys, and hands-on troubleshooting to ensure solutions operate reliably.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, with 3–8 years' experience in network admin, QA testing, software installation, and maintenance.

• Server and/or cloud certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and install/configure solutions at sites.
• Manage user acceptance testing at sites.
• Maintain delivered solutions and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare documentation and handover items for customers at sites.
• Coordinate with HQ Technical Support & R&D for escalations and VOC.

Job description

• Solutions delivered on time and on budget.
• Perform maintenance on time.
• Provide timely and satisfactory issues resolutions.
• Conduct training, presentation to internal and external customers.
• Manage internal and external customers.

During Solutions Delivery Phase:

• At site survey to ensure infra and network is in accordance to solutions requirements.
• Install, Configure solutions at sites.
• Manage User Acceptance testing at sites.
• Document handover items for customers at sites.

During Maintenance Phase:

• Ensure all delivered solutions are in operation.
• At site or remote to support and troubleshoot issues related to the delivered solutions.
• At site to perform solutions preventative action, monthly patching or upgrade.
• At site testing and delivery of Samsung devices.
• Work closely with the HQ Technical Support & R&D for critical issues escalation and VOC compilation.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Information System related field
• Server and/or cloud certificate is highly preferred
• 3 - 8 years of experience in network administration, QA testing, software installation and maintenance is preferred
• Knowledge in the use of VM software and system OS (Windows Server, JAVA, Apache Tomcat, Redhat, Ubuntu, etc.)
• Knowledge in the configuration management such as AD, CA, DNS etc
• Knowledge in the use of database: MSSQL, MYSQL etc
• Knowledge on Cloud (i.e., AWS, Azure, or similar) and on-premises infrastructure deployment
• Excellent problem solving, and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills; able to present technical topics to non technical audience
• Self Starter, positive attitude and customer oriented
• Must be a Singaporean

Preferred Qualification

• Knowledge in MDM related solutions and technology (such as Samsung Knox, Android Enterprise, VMWare Workspace ONE, MobileIron, Citrix Endpoint Management, Microsoft Intune, and etc) are a plus
• Programing and software development skill in Java, XML, HTML, Android development are a plus
• Project Management experience and/or certificate
• Experience in designing cloud system environment, able to manage cloud resource with automation
• Ability to take up a new technology and perform development based on client requirement
