Job summary

Oracle Capac Services Unlimited Company (Singapore Branch) seeks a highly experienced Principal Solution Architect for its APAC Strategic Pursuit team. You will be the technical interface for strategic customers, align OCI technology with business goals, and lead architecture discussions across APAC.

Based in Singapore with 40%–50% travel, you will engage with cloud-native customers, drive scalable OCI deployments, and help resolve blockers with TPMs and service teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience architecting and implementing solutions on major CSPs.
• Hands-on cloud native architecture and cloud migration projects.
• Experience in cloud security, compliance, and governance.
• Ability to collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with APAC Strategic Pursuit leaders to define cloud strategies and architecture frameworks for target accounts.
• Evaluate OCI services for Cloud Natives’ use cases, focusing on scalability, resilience, and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership to local sales engineering on OCI-based application architecture.
• Identify and address migration blockers, propose workarounds, and collaborate with TPMs and OCI service teams for improvements.
• Recommend cost optimization and improve resource management for OCI environments; ensure security practices including IAM, encryption, and auditing.
• Partner with OCI service and capacity teams for feature and capacity delivery across compute, storage, networking, and AI infra projects.
• Act as the technical interface for AI infra strategic accounts in APAC.
• Stay current on OCI platform enhancements and industry trends; represent OCI in executive-level customer meetings and events.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Solution Architect in the APAC Strategic Pursuit team. You will serve as the technical interface and owner for strategic customer engagement. In this pivotal role, you will engage with tech teams from the most significant Cloud Natives in the region, aligning OCI technology and solutions with business objectives, providing expertise in cloud native architecture, OCI deployment and operations, as well as AI infra use cases. You will also serve as the OCI subject matter experts in addressing key blockers and assisting local CE teams winning large migration projects.

Department Description:

The Strategic Customers, Engineering team (SCE) at OCI is tasked with managing the relationships with some of our most significant customers, who are the key drivers of our revenue. In response to rapid market growth across Cloud Native businesses in APAC, we are establishing the APAC Strategic Pursuits team to guide Oracle’s largest and high growth cloud opportunities to success. As the principal solution architects in this team, you will be helping the most strategic customers in the region with solving technical challenges with OCI.

This position is based in Singapore and requires 40%-50% travel across the region.

Job Description

• Partner with OCI service and capacity teams for feature and capacity delivery, including general compute, storage, networking, as well as AI infra projects.
• Act as the technical interface for AI infra strategic accounts in APAC.
• Stay current on OCI platform enhancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Able to write tech blogs and represent OCI in executive-level customer meetings, industry events, and strategic forums in the Cloud and AI Infra ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience architecting and implementing solutions on major CSPs.
• In depth knowledge with cloud native business architecture and hands-on in Cloud migration projects and AI infrastructure. Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance principles.
• Proactive, self-starter attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Collaborative team player, dedicated to serving business needs and empowering the sales team to win from competitions.
• To collaborate with local stakeholder in China and therefore they may need to converse in local language

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in cloud product portfolios and IT infra projects. Experience with GPU and AI infra is a strong plus.
• Experience in working with Cloud Native business for large Cloud migration projects.
• Customer centric with strong ownership
