You will design, execute, and maintain test scripts across desktop, web, and mobile apps, support UAT, and collaborate with business and IT teams to guarantee high-quality solutions. The role emphasizes strong analytical and communication skills, experience in test management tools, and the ability to prepare test data and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2-5 years of software or application testing, UAT, and defect tracking experience.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare test cases, test data, and execute manual/automated scripts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test cases, test artefacts, and Requirement Traceability Matrix based on functional specifications or user stories.
• Develop test data and execute manual and/or automated test scripts.
• Analyse test results to identify bugs, predict user behavior, and suggest solutions.
• Assist business users in performing UAT and coordinate with developers/analysts.
• Automate functional, regression, integration, and smoke tests using reusable scripts.
• Document testing activities, produce daily/summary reports, and track issues through resolution.
• Ensure timely delivery and smooth transition of tested solutions to production.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field;
• Must have 2-5 years of software or application testing, UAT, and defect tracking experience;
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail);
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
• Ability to prepare test cases, test data, and execute manual/automated scripts.

Desired Skill-set

• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium, Neoload);
• Ability to collaborate with analysts, developers, and end users;
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
