Job summary

PERCEPT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable software tester to contribute to desktop and web applications, using both manual and automated testing within an Agile/Scrum team.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE with at least two years in software product development or testing, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with global teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.


• Minimum two years of experience in a software product development or software testing environment.


• Experience executing test plans and test cases for desktop and/or web applications, including both manual and automated testing methodologies.


• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Practical experience with test automation and familiarity with automation frameworks such as TestCafe, TestNG, Selenium, or equivalent.


• Experience creating test plans and test cases based on requirement analysis and functional specifications.


• Practical knowledge of applying AI tools and techniques to improve software testing productivity, such as test case generation, test result analysis, or defect investigation.


• Experience in regression, integration, and system testing.


• Experience collaborating with local and global software development teams.


• Familiarity with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira.


• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and source control systems such as Git is an advantage.


• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
