Job summary

SCIENTE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. seeks a Software Tester to ensure quality across desktop, web, and mobile apps. You will design, execute, and maintain test scripts, support UAT, and collaborate with business and IT teams to deploy high-quality solutions.

The role focuses on rigorous testing, test data creation, and automation readiness, with a drive to improve product quality and user satisfaction across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 1–5 years of software or application testing, UAT, and defect tracking experience.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare test cases, test data, and execute manual/automated scripts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test cases, test artefacts, and Requirement Traceability Matrix based on functional specifications or user stories.
• Develop test data and execute manual and/or automated test scripts.
• Analyse test results to identify bugs, predict user behavior, and suggest solutions.
• Assist business users in performing UAT and coordinate with developers/analysts.
• Automate functional, regression, integration, and smoke tests using reusable scripts.
• Document testing activities, produce daily/summary reports, and track issues through resolution.
• Ensure timely delivery and smooth transition of tested solutions to production.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field;
• Must have 1–5 years of software or application testing, UAT, and defect tracking experience;
• Hands‑on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail);
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills;
• Ability to prepare test cases, test data, and execute manual/automated scripts.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium, Neoload);
• Ability to collaborate with analysts, developers, and end users;
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
