Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our team in Singapore. You will prepare test cases, execute manual and automated tests, and document results.

You will work with Business Analysts and Developers, perform UAT support, and contribute to test data and requirement traceability. 1 year of experience and a degree in CS/IT are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in software testing.
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and automation tools (Tosca, Selenium).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test cases/test artifacts from specifications or user stories.
• Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix.
• Prepare test data using tools such as SQL scripts.
• Execute both manual and automated test scripts.
• Analyze test results to predict user behaviour, identify bugs and suggest solutions.
• Document and produce daily test reports.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts and Developers.
• Assist business users in performing User Acceptance Testing.
• Execute automation test cases.

• Prepare test cases/test artefacts taking guidance from the functional specifications or user story

• Prepare RequirementTracabilityMatrix

• Prepare test data using tools such as SQL scripts

• Execute both manual andautomaedtest scripts

• Analyse test results to predict user behaviour, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimise problems

• Document and produce daily test report

• Coordinate and liaise with Business Analysts and Developers

• Assist business users in performing User Acceptance Test

• Execute automation test cases
