Job summary

COMBUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a Software QA Engineer to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test strategies across Agile sprints, ensuring new features meet acceptance criteria and quality standards.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and analysts to perform manual and automated testing using Selenium and Cypress, contributing to CI/CD pipelines with detailed test plans and bug reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
At least 2 years in software quality assurance or testing within Agile teams.
Proficient in manual and automated testing: unit, integration, system, and UAT.
Experience with test automation frameworks/tools (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit/TestNG).
Familiarity with CI/CD and Agile testing methodologies.
Strong collaboration with developers, analysts, and users to ensure quality.
Detail-oriented with strong ability to write test plans, cases, and bug reports.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases to ensure software quality in Agile lifecycle.
Design and execute test cases based on acceptance criteria and ensure features meet quality standards.
Contribute to automation of test cases and continuous testing using relevant tools/frameworks.
Perform manual and automated testing across functional, integration, system, and UAT stages.
Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects; triage with developers and verify fixes.
Collaborate with developers and product owners to test early and frequently within each sprint.
Prepare evidence, test artefacts, and functional validation for UAT; ensure audit-ready results.
Document test results, logs, and evidence; produce clear test plans, cases, and bug reports.
