Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Software Quality Engineer on a fixed-term 1-year contract to own testing strategy and automate regression testing for our cloud-based digital platform.

You will develop end-to-end QA automation frameworks, implement test plans, and support UAT and release validation within an Agile delivery environment.

The role requires 3–4 years of QA experience with hands-on automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and API testing tools like Postman.

Qualifications

• At least 3–4 years of QA experience with strong hands-on automation testing.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing end-to-end QA automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test reporting platforms.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or equivalent.
• Strong API testing experience with Postman, Newman or REST Assured.
• Ability to design clear functional, regression, and integration test cases.
• Basic SQL queries for test data validation.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and security regression testing.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the testing strategy, automated regression testing, API testing, functional testing, UAT support and release quality assurance for the cloud-based platform.
• Automation-first approach to test workflows, processes, logic, dashboards, access controls and integrations.
• Prepare test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, test cases and regression test packs.
• Build and maintain automated regression test suites for critical user journeys.
• Prepare UAT test scenarios, support business users during UAT and verify production readiness.
• Conduct regression testing, smoke testing and release validation before deployment.
