Job summary

OCBC Group in Singapore is seeking a Full Stack / Back End Software Engineer with strong Java and microservices experience. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs, collaborating with front-end teams to deliver robust applications.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in software development, proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and Git is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3 to 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 17 and back-end development.
• Strong RESTful APIs and microservices knowledge.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control (Git/Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
