Job summary

OCBC Group Wealth is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer (Java, ReactJS) to build and maintain scalable wealth and trading platforms. You will design microservices in Spring Boot, deliver RESTful APIs, and craft responsive frontend using ReactJS and modern JS.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in design and code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD and testing practices to ensure reliable production systems in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise Java/J2EE applications.
• Proven experience in Agile delivery and full SDLC execution.
• Strong hands-on experience building and deploying microservices using Spring ecosystem technologies.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and related standards (JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, XML).
• Hands-on frontend experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners, business users, and SMEs to shape requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and develop microservices using Java technologies (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch).
• Build and enhance responsive frontend applications using ReactJS and modern JavaScript.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, software engineers, QA, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners.
• Deliver enhancements across wealth/trading application workflows in a microservices architecture.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and provide production support for business-critical applications.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD practices to improve software quality and release efficiency.
