Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a full‑stack developer to design and maintain front-end and back-end systems, APIs, and data pipelines. You will work with AWS services, databases, and data lakes while ensuring security and scalable architectures.

You will partner with DevOps and QA teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and build robust data processing workflows across the stack. This contract role offers renewal potential and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant development experience.
• Strong experience in both frontend and backend development.
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js or Vue.js.
• Backend development experience using Node.js.
• Proficient in SQL/Python and database technologies such as PostgreSQL, AWS S3 and Athena.
• Experience in data engineering, data transformation, batch processing, and database design would be advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, RDS PostgreSQL, Lambda and related cloud services.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or ArgoCD.
• Good understanding of API design, system design, data structures, scalability, and application security.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Postman or Supertest.

Responsibilities

• Implement application and cloud security best practices, including authentication, authorisation, API security, IAM, and secrets management.
