Job summary

Radixeng in Singapore is seeking a Software Development Specialist to lead full-stack engineering teams and own architectural decisions from concept through production deployment.

You will design scalable software architectures, develop frontend and backend code with React, TypeScript, Python (FastAPI/Django), and drive API design, data models, and CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

As a Software Specialist, you will:

Provide technical leadership for full-stack engineering teams, serving as the primary technical authority for architectural and engineering decisions.

Design, develop, and deliver software solutions from concept through production deployment.

Define, review, and evolve modern, scalable, and distributed software architectures.

Develop and review both frontend and backend code, ensuring high standards of quality, maintainability, performance, and security.

Lead and participate in technical discussions with clients and internal engineering teams.

Facilitate Design Review sessions, ensuring architectural decisions are documented and action items are executed.

Support technical project planning, including effort estimation, solution design, and resource allocation.

Partner with the Sales and Business Development teams to prepare technical proposals, ensuring proposed solutions are technically sound and aligned with client needs.

Identify opportunities for technical improvements and innovation across projects.

Mentor software engineers at different experience levels, fostering technical growth and engineering excellence.

Promote knowledge sharing through technical training, architecture discussions, and lessons-learned sessions.

Contribute to engineering knowledge management by defining and maintaining technical standards, best practices, documentation, and development guidelines.

Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable software solutions.

Required Qualifications

Advanced to fluent English, with the ability to communicate effectively in international environments.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Strong frontend development experience using React, including TypeScript and the broader React ecosystem.

Strong backend development experience using Python, with frameworks such as FastAPI and/or Django.

Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs, including GraphQL query optimization.

Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.

Strong experience writing high-performance SQL queries and optimizing data access.

Advanced knowledge of Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code review workflows.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Experience with modern software architectures, including:

Docker containers

Microservices

Microfrontend architectures

Strong understanding of design patterns, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture principles.

Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design logical, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

Excellent communication, technical leadership, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with additional technologies in the Node.js ecosystem, such as Next.js, Vite, Express, or NestJS.

Experience with backend development using C#/.NET or other modern backend technologies.

Experience with messaging platforms and event-driven architectures, including Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS.

Knowledge of observability practices and tools, including logging, metrics, tracing, and application monitoring.
