Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer to lead end-to-end development of modern web apps.

You will build robust frontend interfaces with React/TypeScript, and craft scalable backends using Node.js, Express.js, or NestJS. Responsibilities include API design, database modelling (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and deploying on AWS/Azure. You’ll mentor juniors, drive architecture decisions, and optimize performance while embracing AI-assisted coding tools to stay

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack development experience; 6-8 years preferred.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Backend experience with Node.js, Express.js, NestJS or similar.
• Understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalability.
• Experience designing relational databases and performance tuning.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
• Practical use of AI-assisted coding tools in projects.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of full stack applications, from frontend interfaces to backend services.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable web applications using modern technologies.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Design, optimise, and manage relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code) to enhance productivity and development workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver quality software solutions.
• Mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure applications are scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable.
• Participate in system performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of full stack software development experience (6-8 years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Extensive backend development experience using Node.js, Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable application development.
• Experience designing and managing relational databases, including schema design and performance optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and working with containerisation technologies such as Docker.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools in software development projects.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently with a high level of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Exposure to Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments or projects within Government Agencies will be an advantage.
