Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree/Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems.
• 5–8 years of SDLC experience; embedded systems may lead to Solution Architect.
• Experience with OAuth2.0/JWT and service accounts OR AWS Cognito.
• Expert level NodeJS, JS libraries (Express, Angular, NextJS), MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Expert AWS CLI usage (Cognito, Pinpoint, SQS, SES, SNS, S3, Lambda, EKS) with JS or Python.
• Prototyping with design patterns, OOAD and proof of concepts.
• Back-End API design RESTful services, Micro-services, AWS Lambda.
• Knowledge of SSL/OAuth2/JWT, AWS/Azure/Google Firebase; IoT platforms advantageous.
• DevSecOps with Jenkins, GitLab; Docker CI/CD advantageous.
• Able to adapt to changing specs; strong interpersonal, proactive team player.

Job Purpose:

Full-stack Web Application Developer

Candidate Profile:

Versatile front-end and full-stack web developers with skills in MEAN/MERN/Python full stack based web app development, Python or JavaScript and RESTful based AWS Cloud development.

Key Responsibilities:

Software development in one or more of the following:

1. Design, develop and integrate using Angular/React/React-Native front-ends.
2. Design, develop and integrate MEAN/MERN/Python stack based SPA web applications
3. Design, develop and integrate Python and NodeJS web apps
4. Design, develop and integrate RESTful/MQ based microservices

Knowledge and skill requirements:

1. Degree/Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems
2. 5-8 years of SDLC experience. Candidates with full spectrum skills including embedded systems may be considered for Solution Architect role
3. Experience with Google Identity Platform, OAuth2.0/JWT for service accounts OR AWS Cognito.
4. Expert level skills in NodeJS development, JS libraries and frameworks (Express, Angular, NextJS etc), MongoDB, PostGreSQL
5. Expert level skills in AWS CLI (Cognito, Pinpoint, SQS, SES, SNS, EBS, S3, Lambda, EKS) using JS or Python
6. Able to rapidly prototype using design patterns, OOAD techniques and demonstrate proof of concepts
7. Back-End API design and development based on RESTful services, Micro-service design pattern, and AWS Lambda
8. Knowledge in SSL/OAuth2.0/JWT, AWS, Azure and Google Firebase platforms and IoT platforms is advantageous and preferred
9. DevSecOps knowledge using Jenkins, GitLab and Docker CI/CD pipeline is advantageous.
10. Able to work with uncertainty and changing specifications
