Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 2+ years experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
• Experience in large corporate environments with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies (CI/CD, resilience, security).
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and evaluating AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and security expectations.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to go beyond routine problems.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run with relevant systems.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met by code.
• Gathers, analyzes, and visualizes large data sets to support continuous improvement.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive improvements to coding hygiene and architecture.
• Contributes to software engineering communities and explores new technologies.
• Supports diverse, inclusive team culture.
• Leverages enterprise AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with peer reviews and testing.
