Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co in Singapore seeks a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable software components for state-of-the-art technology products. You will work in an agile team, delivering robust solutions with a focus on security, stability, and performance.

You will contribute across the full SDLC, mentor teammates, and collaborate with Product, Front/Back Office, Finance, Legal, and other functions to meet tight deadlines and evolving requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong Java, Spring, REST and data-access technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support projects on the Global Portfolio Swap platform.
• Build production code and algorithms; troubleshoot across components.
• Deliver software on time; support Production, QA and Development environments.
• Design and maintain pricing systems; improve existing systems.
• Drive best practices; participate in full SDLC using Agile methodologies.
• Manage defect tracking; prepare system updates.
• Collaborate with global teams and JPMorgan Chase functions to deliver scalable solutions.
• Meet deadlines and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Deploy scalable REST-based services and APIs for web applications.
• Decompose technical problems and build robust solutions.
