Job summary

JPMorganChase in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer II to join the Kinexys team within Corporate and Investment Banking. You will design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software components of our secure, scalable technology platform.

You will work in an agile environment, contribute to reliability and performance, and engage across teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a 24x7 operations context.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Formal training and certification in software engineering with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java/Kotlin/Python/Go).

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work.
• Troubleshoot priority incidents and ensure permanent closure of incidents.
• Engage with the development team to build reliable, scalable software with minimal refactoring.
• Identify patterns and analytics to improve SLAs and observability.
• Design self-healing and resiliency patterns.
• Plan automated upgrades, change, and release management solutions.
• Participate in 24x7 support as needed.
