Job summary

Silverlink Technologies Pte. Ltd. is seeking a backend engineer to design, build, and scale backend services and data pipelines powering search indexing.

The role emphasizes owning performance, capacity, and reliability across distributed systems, and requires diagnosing and fixing complex production issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve the indexing stack, raise the bar through design and code reviews, and mentor other engineers while shaping technical direction for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in one or more of C++, Java, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Hands-on experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Experience diagnosing and fixing performance, scalability, and reliability problems.
• Demonstrated ability to own ambiguous, multi-quarter technical problems end to end.
