Silverlink Technologies Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is hiring a backend engineer to design, build, and scale backend services and data pipelines powering search indexing. You will own performance, capacity, and reliability, focusing on latency, freshness, and throughput.

You will debug complex production issues across distributed systems and collaborate with search ranking, serving, and product teams to evolve the indexing stack and mentor others on best practices.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems.
• Strong coding skills in C++, Java, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Hands-on experience operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Ability to own complex, multi-quarter technical problems end to end.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and scale backend services and data pipelines that power search indexing.
• Own performance, capacity, and reliability for components — including latency, freshness, and indexing throughput.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems.
• Partner with search ranking, serving, and product teams to evolve the indexing stack toward new requirements.
• Raise the technical bar through design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship of other engineers.
• Drive technical direction for your area, including migrations off legacy components.
