Job summary

Silversmith Capital Partners in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Representative to generate and qualify new opportunities through inbound/outbound calls, web chats, and emails. This entry point to a software sales career involves engaging a range of personas from corporate to startup, with a consultative, curious, and ambitious approach.

The role requires 6+ months in a BDR/SDR capacity within software, excellent English communication, and a self-driven attitude.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in a BDR/SDR role in the software industry.
• Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills.
• Self-starter with desire to learn, grow, and excel.
• Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin/Japanese/Korean preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling to generate and qualify new opportunities.
• Develop opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
• Sell services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
• Identify needs and challenges of the prospective customer.
• Determine the prospect's interest in the product.
• Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives and prospects.
• Nurture trial leads until they are ready to buy.
• Collect detailed prospect information and maintain accurate CRM records.
