Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable SoC physical design engineer to contribute to tapeout and advanced chip design. You will handle floor-planning, place-and-route, RC extraction, and timing/power optimization while validating the APR flow.

You will also benchmark Performance/Power/Area and improve project efficiency through scripting in Perl, TCL, and Python, with feedback to flow development teams to enhance company flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in microelectronics or related field is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise, organise work, meet deadlines and multitask.
• Good communication and teamwork, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for physical design and development for a variety of SoCs and tapeout.
• Execute floor-planning, place-and-route, RC extraction, timing and power optimization, physical verification.
• Benchmark Performance/Power/Area to validate APR flow robustness.
• Enhance project efficiency by scripting with Perl, TCL, Python, etc.
• Provide feedback to flow development team for flow enhancements.
