Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support module equipment on the production floor. You will follow SOPs, perform PM activities, and assist engineers with installations.

The role requires 2 years in semiconductor processes, strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts. You will also train operators and ensure safe custody of tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP and perform CAS per specification.
• Execute preventive maintenance as per PM schedule.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain housekeeping on production floor and support areas.
• Adhere to safety practices and safeguard tools and equipment.
• Operate measurement instruments for data collection and prepare metrology files.
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support production.
• Assist Engineers with installation and hookup of new or upgraded equipment.
• Assist in equipment improvement projects.
• Train operators and trainers in new procedures.
• Provide proper handover of line issues with documented checklists.

Job description

• Follow SOP and carry out CAS per specification.
• Execute scheduled / special preventive maintenance (PM) as per PM schedule and specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment related issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production floor / sub FAB / Office, and maintenance support areas.
• Ensure and follow good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module.
• Know how to use measurement instruments effectively in data collection. Able to create metrology job files correctly (equipment list to be defined by the Supervisors.)
• Perform shift duties (12-hours shift) to support the running of production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.
• Assist Engineer in the installation and hook up of new or upgrading equipment.
• Assist in implementing equipment improvement projects.
• Able to train operators and trainers in new operational procedures.
• Execute good maintenance of support tools.
• Assist new Technician/Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy.
• Provide proper and accurate passed down of line issues and documentation (fill up and file the checklists).

Job Requirements:

• Nitec / Diploma / Degree in any engineering fields or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 year working experience in semiconductor, Diffusion Furnace/Clean tech Equipment,
• Strong logical thinking capability and good analytical skill
• High level of integrity and committed with good ownership and accountability
• Able to adapt in a fast pace environment and work under pressure Proficient in MS Office Applications
