Job summary

Illumina Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to provide technical leadership for sustaining smart manufacturing equipment in a high-volume consumables setting.

You will define and execute preventive maintenance on optical, mechanical, electrical, and fluidics systems to optimize uptime and reliability. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience in GMP/cGMP manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical/electronic/mechanical/pneumatic systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot analytical instruments and automation equipment.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with discipline and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance on optical, mechanical, electrical and fluidics systems to improve uptime.
• Train and mentor Technicians and Engineer I team members.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with cGMP and company policies.
• Support and lead improvements and 6S initiatives across maintenance processes.
• Perform incident investigations and develop effective technical reports.
• Coordinate spare parts in SAP and maintain safety stock levels.
• Lead shift activities to meet production KPIs and targets.
