Job summary

ILLUMINA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Equipment Engineer (Operations Intelligence) to develop data science solutions from manufacturing data, improving quality, yield and cycle times.

You will collaborate with software, process and automation teams to deploy models and analytics that monitor equipment health and performance. The role requires practical ML, time-series analytics, and programming in Python or R, plus experience with SQL and data integration.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of experience in statistical modeling or data science related role.
• Strong ability to apply time-series methods, anomaly detection and ML to manufacturing data.
• Proficiency in Python or R; familiarity with SQL databases and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop data science models and analytics to improve quality, yield and cycle time.
• Develop dashboards and data pipelines for operational intelligence.
• Collaborate with software, process, equipment and automation teams.
• Support AI-assisted troubleshooting and knowledge-retrieval solutions.
• Lead or support cross-functional investigations and maintain documentation.
