Job summary

Illumina in Singapore Woodlands is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 3 to perform sub-systems alignment, calibration, functional testing and troubleshooting for high-quality genomic instruments. You will assemble electro/optical/mechanical subsystems, align complex optics, and conduct final integration and QC procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering and 2–4 years of related experience, with familiarity in GMP/6S principles.

Qualifications

• Experience with FDA regulated medical device manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, 6S and Lean.
• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic) preferred.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-systems alignment, calibration, functional test and troubleshooting.
• Assemble electro/optical/mechanical sub-systems and perform functional tests.
• Align complex optical systems using in-house software and instruments.
• Perform instrument final integration and full system test.
• Perform data collection, analysis and QC procedures; process work orders.
• Coordinate with Equipment Team for maintenance; support Lean initiatives.
