Job summary

Responsibilities include following recipes, sanitizing equipment, weighing ingredients, chopping vegetables and meats, making stocks and sauces, labeling stock, and maintaining daily temperature logs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of cook/chef experience.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain hygiene.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and prepare dishes
• Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
• Weigh and measure ingredients
• Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables
• Basic cooking functions such as preparing sauces, soups and stocks
• Label stock and inventory all ingredients
• Temperature Logs must be maintained on the daily basis
