Job summary

E&M CONTRACTOR PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Coordinator/Manager to plan, manage and ensure smooth implementation of assigned projects from inception to completion, on time and to the required quality. The role includes ensuring safety, coordinating site activities, and supervising materials and labour on site.

You will prepare daily site reports, monitor progress, and resolve site issues, including coordinating with Mandarin-speaking contractors. Weekend and public holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Safety Supervisor certificate required.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to solve site issues.
• Ability to check workers' attendance and lateness.
• Ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking contractors.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willing to work in dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and ensure smooth project implementation from inception to completion on time and quality.
• Ensure performance complies with specifications, technical clarifications, and drawings.
• Site administration including safety and control of materials and machinery on site.
• Ensure delivered construction materials meet requirements.
• Prepare daily site reports, track progress, and take site measurements.
• Minimise material and manpower wastage.
• Handle labour and supplier disputes.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings.
• Rectify and supervise works on site.
• Able to work on weekends/public holidays.
• Other duties as assigned.
