Job summary

Hitachi Plant Services Co., Ltd. in Singapore seeks an assistant for Project/ Site management to help plan, manage and monitor projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and the required quality.

You will coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, supervise installation teams, ensure site safety and proper materials handling, attend daily meetings, and support escalation and reporting to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least an ITE Certificate / Diploma in Engineering / Construction / BCCS or equivalent.
• Preferably with 2–3 years working experience in building construction industry.
• Familiarity in Semi-conductor services sequence of works are essential.
• Self-driven and able to work within tight deadlines.
• A team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his / her work.
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager / Site Manager to plan, manage and ensure smooth implementation and monitor of projects assigned from inception to completion on time and of desired quality
• Support Project Manager / Site Manager in the volume business through coordination, follow-up and reporting the progress and quality of the overall project
• Be in-charged of leading and managing the installation team (sub-contractors/vendors) to ensure safe, high quality and complete-on-time delivery of organization's project and solutions
• Responsible for effective site administration which include site safety and control of materials / plants on site
• Ensure that all Safety compliances and processes are adhered to by all subcontractors
• Assist to manage and monitor site operation, subcontractors and vendors
• Responsible for coordination and supervision to ensure works are carried out efficiently and on schedule
• Able to communicate to all level and attend site meeting on a daily basis
• Any other work as and when assigned by the Project Manager
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior
