Job summary

HITACHI PLANT CONSTRUCTION, LTD. Singapore Branch seeks a Site Engineer to review, coordinate, and revise subcontractors' drawings and design documents, interpret M&E drawings, and liaise with system-wide contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

During construction, you will oversee site activities including safety compliance, material delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, training, and preparation of operation and maintenance manuals, with knowledge of the railway industry

Qualifications

Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Strong planning, coordination, and reporting skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Review, coordinate, and revise subcontractors' drawings, technical submissions, and design documents.
Interpret mechanical and electrical (M&E) drawings and understand mechanical calculations.
Coordinate, liaise, and interface with system-wide contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
During the construction phase, perform the role of Site Engineer, overseeing site activities including safety compliance, material delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, training, preparation of operation and maintenance manuals, and defect liability management.
Possess knowledge of the railway industry or be familiar with maintenance equipment used in MRT depots.
