Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT-related discipline.
• 4-6 years in Data Centre Ops, Infrastructure Ops, Site Reliability, or IT Infra Support.
• Experience in 24x7 operations and enterprise/colocation data centres.
• Prefers applicants with own transport to access multiple islandwide locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day data centre operations ensuring high availability.
• Coordinate with facilities, vendors, and project teams to support operations.
• Support server installations, rack deployments, and changes.
• Monitor power, cooling, and IT infrastructure health across sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and readiness reviews.
• Lead incident troubleshooting, RCA, and action closure with ITSM records.

Job description

This role requires Site Reliability Administrator to support multiple sites islandwide.
Support Hours - 12 Hours shift - Mon to Sunday including Public Holidays
Contract Duration - 12 Months

Key Responsibilities

Data Centre Operations & Infrastructure

• Manage day-to-day data centre operations, ensuring high availability of critical infrastructure and services.
• Coordinate with Data Centre Facilities teams, vendors, remote hands, and project teams to support operational requirements.
• Support server installations, rack deployments, decommissioning activities, and infrastructure changes.
• Monitor power, cooling, environmental, and IT infrastructure health across multiple sites.
• Perform routine infrastructure health checks, preventive maintenance, and operational readiness reviews.
• Manage rack space allocation, power capacity planning, and infrastructure utilization.

Monitoring & Automation

• Administer and maintain monitoring platforms such as Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenDCIM, or similar tools.
• Configure monitoring alerts, thresholds, dashboards, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages to improve operational efficiency.
• Support integration of infrastructure monitoring, telemetry, and reporting systems.

Incident & Problem Management

• Monitor infrastructure alerts and respond to incidents within agreed service levels.
• Lead incident troubleshooting, impact assessment, escalation, restoration activities, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions to minimize recurring incidents.
• Maintain incident records, service requests, and change documentation using ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Data Centre Operations, Infrastructure Operations, Site Reliability, or IT Infrastructure Support.
• Prefer applicants with own transport to access Data Center locations islandwide
• Experience supporting enterprise or colocation data centre environments.
• Experience managing critical infrastructure in a 24x7 operational environment.
