Job summary

FUCHI PTE LTD is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee an LTA project site or multiple private sector projects. You will supervise site activities, coordinate with clients, designers, and consultants, and ensure proper execution and cost control on site.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and at least 5 years of relevant civil/ERSS experience. Strong planning, coordination and communication skills are essential to lead the team and ensure

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant civil, excavation, ERSS, or construction experience.
• Experience in ERSS works such as sheet piling, strutting, waling and excavation is preferred.
• Good coordination, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction safety requirements and site practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage an LTA project site or multiple private sector projects.
• Oversee and supervise overall project execution and site activities.
• Liaise with clients, designers and consultants on design specifications and feasibility.
• Coordinate with logistics and machinery departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Propose and implement effective work methods and construction strategies.
• Provide technical expertise and recommend improvements for project efficiency.
• Lead and manage the project team to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Monitor project progress and performance against goals.
• Identify and manage project risks to minimize potential issues.
• Ensure proper allocation and utilization of manpower on-site.
• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Review project progress and work closely with quantity surveyors on cost control.
• Ensure all necessary approvals from relevant authorities are obtained before commencement.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
