SAS ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead façade and structural steel works on site, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications and quality guidelines.

You will prepare method statements, work sequences and progress reports, coordinate safety submissions, and manage subcontractors, materials and equipment to meet project milestones.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in façade/structural steel works.
• Able to read architectural and shop drawings.
• Experience in method statements and progress reports.
• Familiar with steel erection and welding.
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel; AutoCAD beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Manage daily site operations for façade and structural steel works.
• Prepare MOS, installation procedures and work sequences.
• Coordinate the preparation of risk assessments, safe work procedures and safety submissions.
• Prepare progress reports with site photos, manpower records and work status.
• Prepare programmes, look-ahead schedules, material requisitions and delivery schedules.
• Plan and supervise manpower, subcontractors, materials, equipment and installation activities.
• Review drawings and coordinate shop drawings, fabrication details and site measurements.
• Coordinate RFIs, material submissions and inspection requests.
• Coordinate fabrication, delivery, lifting, steel erection and façade installation.
• Liaise with main contractors, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, method statements and quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspections for welding, bolted connections, coatings, cladding and completed works.
• Attend site meetings, provide progress updates and follow up on actions.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and implement recovery plans.
• Maintain site records, inspection checklists and delivery records for progress claims.
• Manage defects rectification and handover documents.
• Enforce site safety requirements including working at height and lifting operations.

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to manage façade and structural steel works, including site execution, technical documentation, planning and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations for façade, aluminium cladding and structural steel works.
• Prepare Method Statements (MOS), installation procedures and work sequences.
• Coordinate the preparation of Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and relevant safety submissions.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, including site photographs, manpower records and work status.
• Prepare work programmes, look-ahead schedules, material requisitions and delivery schedules.
• Plan and supervise manpower, subcontractors, materials, equipment and installation activities.
• Review approved drawings and coordinate shop drawings, fabrication details and site measurements.
• Prepare and follow up on Requests for Information (RFI), material submissions and inspection requests.
• Coordinate fabrication, delivery, lifting, steel erection and façade installation.
• Liaise with main contractors, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to resolve site and technical issues.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspections for welding, bolted connections, coatings, cladding and completed works.
• Attend site meetings, provide progress updates and follow up on action items.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in façade and structural steel works, including site supervision or management.
• Able to interpret architectural, structural, shop and fabrication drawings.
• Experienced in preparing method statements, work programmes, technical submissions and progress reports.
• Familiar with steel erection, welding, bolted connections and façade installation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and project reporting; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication and coordination skills.
• Relevant construction safety qualifications are an advantage.
