Job summary

SAS ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead façade, aluminium cladding and structural steel works on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards.

You will manage daily operations, plan look‑ahead schedules, coordinate subcontractors, prepare MOS, RA/SWP and progress reports, and maintain records for claims and handovers.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in façade and structural steel works.
• Able to interpret architectural, structural, shop and fabrication drawings.
• Experience in preparing MOS, work programmes, technical submissions and progress reports.
• Familiar with steel erection, welding, bolted connections and façade installation.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; AutoCAD knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication and coordination skills.
• Relevant construction safety qualifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspections for welding, bolted connections, coatings, cladding and completed works.
• Attend site meetings, provide progress updates and follow up on actions.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and implement recovery plans.
• Maintain site records, inspection checklists and handover documents.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in façade and structural steel works, including site supervision or management.
• Able to interpret architectural, structural, shop and fabrication drawings.
• Experienced in preparing method statements, work programmes, technical submissions and progress reports.
• Familiar with steel erection, welding, bolted connections and façade installation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and project reporting; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
