Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join its Singapore project team. This site-based role supports major civil and infrastructure works, including deep excavation, diaphragm walls, bored piling and tunnelling.

You will oversee day-to-day construction, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained on site. The ideal candidate has 5 years' experience with a main contractor and is willing to work 6 days on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience with a Main Contractor.
• Direct experience in diaphragm wall, bored piling and tunnelling works.
• Experience on large-scale civil infrastructure or LTA projects is highly relevant.
• Strong understanding of site execution, sequencing, coordination and supervision.
• Open to 6 working days on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities per approved programmes, specifications and project requirements.
• Plan and monitor progress against master schedule, escalating delays and coordinating recovery actions.
• Coordinate with Professional Engineers, consultants, subcontractors on temporary works and site issues.
• Provide technical support to resolve construction issues, minimising progress impact.
• Supervise site supervisors and teams, guiding methods, sequencing and daily tasks.
• Monitor workmanship and conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety.
• Prepare and review site docs like reports, method statements and submissions.
• Manage site manpower, keeping work areas safe, organised and controlled.
