Job summary

HKM HR MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. seeks a Civil Engineering graduate to support project planning and supervision across multiple site locations in Singapore.

The role includes managing the drawings office, coordinating with architects and M&E teams, tracking workshop drawings, and ensuring IMS and WSHE compliance. Fresh graduates welcome, weekend work may be required, and a strong work attitude is essential. You'll work onsite at Holland / Tampines / Woodland / Tengah, assisting the Project Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in project planning/scheduling using MS Project or other specified tools.
• Manage the project’s drawing office and prepare workshop drawing schedules.
• Coordinate with architectural, M&E coordinators and sub-contractors for workshop drawings.
• Liaise with sub-contractors/suppliers on structural materials proposals.
• Organize consultant approvals for workshop drawings and proposed materials.
• Control technical document distribution to ensure latest approved copies are used on site.
• Organize and conduct self-inspections at critical construction stages to ensure quality.
• Monitor subcontractor/supplier performance to meet time and quality targets.
• Assist in preparing progress reports and presentations (PowerPoint).
• Ensure all works follow the company's Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Ensure WSHE aspects and measures on site are fully complied with.
• Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.

Job description

• 1. To assist Project Manager in project planning/scheduling by using Microsoft Project or any other project management software that specified in the project specification
• 2. To manage the project's drawing office and to prepare workshop drawing schedule
• 3. To coordinate with architectural, M&E coordinators and sub-contractors in the workshop drawings preparation
• 4. To liaise with sub-contractors/suppliers on the structural materials proposal
• 5. To organize and manage in seeking consultant's approval on workshop drawings and materials proposed
• 6. To manage in technical documents distribution control to ensure that drawings and other technical information used in the project site are the latest approved copy
• 7. To organize and carry out self-inspection on all critical stage of construction works, eg. Piling, precast component installation, concreting works, etc. and are satisfied with the quality standard prior to arrange inspection by the consultant's supervisors
• 8. To monitor and control sub-contractor/suppliers performance and to ensure works are being carried out according to the time allocated and to the required quality standards
• 9. To assist Project Manager in preparing progress report, Power-point presentation, etc.
• 10. All works process is to be carried out in accordance with the company's Integrated Management System (IMS)
• 11. To ensure that all WSHE aspects and measures at site are fully complied with
• 12. Any other duties assigned by your superiors.
