Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Experience supervising site workers, subcontractors, and coordinating multiple site activities.
  • Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, QA/QC, and workplace safety practices.
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Singapore construction practices and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily construction site activities to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed on schedule and within quality standards.
  • Supervise site workers and subcontractors, assign daily tasks, and monitor productivity and workmanship.
  • Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, company procedures, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, identify defects or site issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical and site-related matters.
  • Monitor material deliveries, manpower deployment, and equipment usage to support project progress.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports and maintain accurate site records and documentation.
  • Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress, quality, and safety performance.
