Job summary

KIAN KA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled civil engineer/site supervisor to support project delivery across Singapore. You will assist SPM/PM, monitor progress, coordinate with clients and site teams, and conduct site inspections.

The role requires a degree in civil engineering and at least 5 years of relevant Singapore construction experience, with proficiency in English, MS Office, and AutoCAD, plus strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing construction sequences, resource planning and manpower.
• Maintain project database and records of construction documents.
• Prepare progress details, estimations and reports as required.
• Review drawings and prepare quantity requirements (e.g., BBS).
• Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues.
• Ad-hoc duties.
• Base at different sites.

Roles and responsibilities

• Assist SPM/PM in execution and managing day-to-day activities
• Monitor work progress in relevance to project schedule
• Coordinate & liaise with clients and site team to ensure the works are performed in accordance with specification & drawings
• Conduct and attend site inspections
• Assist in the requisition of materials, and ensure timely delivery and mobilisation
• Assist in developing construction sequences, resource planning and manpower requirement.
• Maintain project database and record keeping of all construction documents
• Prepare progress details, estimations and any other reports as required
• Review drawings and prepare quantity requirements, such as preparation of Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) etc.
• Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues.
• Any other ad-hoc duties
• Base at different sites

Skill set

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Singapore construction industry (preferably in civil field/ RC works)
• Proficient in English, MS Office, AutoCad
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Self-motivated and able to complete task independently under tight deadline
• Good team player, collaborating on multi-projects of various stages, ensuring deliverables within set times and expectations
