Job summary

NACHI CONTRACTORS PTE. LTD. invites applications for a Civil Engineer/Site Engineer role in Singapore.

The incumbent will assist the Project Manager in planning and executing projects and will handle technical matters such as method statements, shop drawings, and related submissions for road works. The candidate should have a degree in Civil Engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be familiar with CAD.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Civil Engineering and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in CAD and site coordination tasks.
• Ability to liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning and execution of projects.
• Prepare method statements, construction programmes, shop drawings, and related submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities.
• Ensure on-site works meet quality and contractual requirements.
• Plan and monitor progress, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Attend progress meetings and support monthly progress claims/reports.
• Ensure environmental, safety and health practices on site.

• Assist PM in project planning & execution.
• Handle technical matters such as preparing method statements, construction program, shop drawing, & other submissions related to project.
• Liaises with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities.
• Other works assigned managers
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Min 2 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge in CAD
• Class 3 driving license
• Able to work independently
• Familiar with road work construction field
• Responsible for all on-site technical and engineering matters.
• Ensure works carried out meet company's quality standards & contractual requirements.
• Involved in project planning, monitoring project progress and schedule.
• Including prepare work plan, schedule, preparation all the related work procedure/method statement, job safety analysis, technical clarification , resources management and procurement arrangement .
• To co-ordinate with the client, consultant, sub-contractors on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.
• Include attending all progress meeting.
• Assisting Project Manager in monthly progress claims and monthly progress reports.
• Ensuring supervisors, foremen, workers and sub-con meets client & regulatory work requirements.
• Ensuring Environmental, Safety and Health practices are carried out at all times.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
